A tattoo studio experience, from the first idea to the next visit.
Local Robot created the Pins & Roses Tattoo app for iOS and Android, bringing the Pennsville, New Jersey studio’s artists, booking requests, merchandise and rewards together in one place.
The app gives clients a direct path from exploring an artist’s work to sharing an idea. Its black-and-gold interface carries the studio’s identity across each screen, while Rose adds a playful, tattoo-inspired personality.
Meet the artist behind your next tattoo
Artist profiles and portfolios help clients explore different styles before starting a conversation. Photos open for a closer look, and clients can begin a request with their chosen artist. Studio information, walk-in details, directions and contact options keep the practical next steps close at hand.
Give an idea room to take shape
The booking flow collects the details an artist needs to understand a project: the tattoo idea, placement, approximate size, availability and reference photos. Clients can read the studio’s deposit policy before sending their request.
The app supports the conversation rather than promising an appointment instantly. The selected artist follows up by email to confirm the details.
Keep a little of the studio with you
Clients can browse Pins & Roses merchandise and gift cards, choose product options and review their cart in the app. Purchases finish through the studio’s secure website checkout.
The shopping experience shares the same visual language as artist discovery and booking, keeping the studio’s identity consistent from a tattoo inquiry to a piece of merchandise.
Rewards connected to real visits
An email-code sign-in opens a personal rewards QR card and booking requests associated with that email address. Clients collect stamps for qualifying paid tattoo visits and can receive up to $50 off a sixth qualifying visit after five stamps.
Staff record qualifying visits and apply rewards at the studio. Program terms apply, keeping the app connected to the studio’s in-person process.
Rose brings the studio into Messages
The iOS app includes ten expressive, tattoo-inspired Rose stickers for Messages. From a cheerful heart to a fierce expression, the character gives clients another way to carry the studio’s personality into everyday conversations.
